After 2 weeks being back it’s good to be on the road again! The first train left this morning at 10. At 3:30 I arrived at the central station in Berlin and it was a good ride. No delays and quiet train ride.
From the train station it is too far to walk to the hostel that I’m staying so I was searching for the bus, but I couldn’t find the right one. After five minutes of searching I was looking for a taxi 🙂 Luckily the taxis here are a lot more cheaper then in Norway! The rite was a good 20 minutes and the cost was 25 euros.
I’ve been here 2 times and the place looks exactly the same like 67 years ago. The last time I was here was 2 years ago and then, on the way back my car broke down 🙂
The hostel is in a forrest, the Grunewald forrest to be precise. Basicly, it’s a big forrest with different lakes where people go to walk their dogs for example. I’m staying here for a week. I’ve been to Berlin a number of times so there is no need for me to see the standard stuff like Checkpoint Charly or anything like that. There is a gas station 500 metres from here where you can get food and drinks (even beer and wine).
Every morning I plan to go out for a run. It’s quite beautiful here and in the morning the temperature is still nice enough to go out for a run. Also, I’m planning to rent a mountainbike to ride in the forrest here. I brought my helmet (Bram) so it’s gonna be allright!
