Last night was the first night of the midsummerfest here in Norway. Unfortunately I was far away from a big party, but I was at a nice place and watched the midnight sun. It was very bright! In fact, the sun was so bright that it warmed up my tent! I got out of my sleeping bag and just the silk liner was enough to stay warm.
I haven’t slept a lot but it was enough. After getting up we went back on the trail at 9:30 in the morning. This trail was for 3 days walking but we tried to do it in 2 days and an evening.
We had a good start and we didn’t encounter a lot of water so the speed was good! We took a few brakes but shorter breaks then yesterday. Around 17:30 we arrived in Kautokeino and the first thing we saw was a big supermarket! I needed to do some shopping (buying a lot of chocolate) and this one was a lot cheaper then the petrol stations I passed. My dinner was a freshly made pizza so I will sleep good tonight!
This night and the next night I’m sleeping in a simple cabin. Tomorrow will be a rest day so I’ll upload a photo recap and also I’ll try to write my definitive review on my backpack, the Gregory Paragon 58, that people has been asking for.
