The nights are getting shorter so I’m writing more. As I told before, I have been busy with traveling & sports this summer. As an IT guy, I like the new apps there are coming out for tracking your activities.
Mountainbiking is something that I like to do. Two and a half miles from my home is an MTB track that I like to ride. It is about 6 miles through the forest and it is a good ride. You’ve got different fast and technical sections. An app that can track mountainbiking and it particular those sections is Strava. It also can track those particular sections and compare them with others you did before or with are persons who did those sections.
If you travel to somewhere and you want to keep a blog about it, normally you just have to do it by hand, tell where you are and so on. Luckily there is an app called Polarsteps which document your travel with GPS. It automaticly makes a map of your travel and you can make “points” on your map where you’ve taken a picture or you can tell what just happened. Look at the picture for how it looks. Personally, I think it looks awesome! It’s made by travelers, which is a good thing.
