In about 8 days I will be traveling to Southern Sweden. I’ve found a trail online I want to walk. Seventy percent of the trail will be on the coastline and because you may camp at any place you want in Sweden, I’m planning to camp on the beach. In the evening you can create a fire and you wake up with the sound of the sea.
When you go online and search for trails in Sweden, you will get a lot of information from the (local) government. The Southern part of Sweden is called “Skane”. It was easy to find a website with information about this part, also with mapped out trails. Take a look on this website. http://en.skaneleden.se/the-trail/
Every trail is devided up into small parts with a lot of information about the trail. Even with a free PDF file with a lot of detailed information.Last week I’ve been gathering gear for the trip.I’ve bought a number of things already and this week I’ll get the rest. The last 6 to 8 weeks I’ve been googling a lot about the gear I want to get. If I may give some advice, when you start googling for your gear, don’t buy it immediately. The more information you will find, you will get a lot more critical about the gear. Wait with buying your gear when you know all the things you want to get.
The next post will be about the gear I got for the trip!
